Allen Hospital has been caring for families in the Cedar Valley since 1925. We're proud to have served generations of Iowa families. And we are building to care for generations to come.

That's where you can help. Healthcare funding is not distributed equitably according to services rendered and needs met. Despite new legislation in 2003, Iowa will continue to rank last in the nation in Medicare and Medicaid payments to hospitals. But gifts to Allen Foundation go directly to Allen Hospital, Allen College and United Medical Park. They provide direct capital, operating and educational benefits to Allen and the families and communities we serve. Your gifts make a difference right here at home.

Allen Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes and accepts funds for Allen Hospital, Allen College and United Medical Park. Through Allen Foundation, donors built both Gerard Hall and Barrett Forum on the Allen College campus. Donors underwrite more than 80 Allen College scholarships every year. In the fall of 2004, Allen Foundation welcomed donors and the entire community to dedicate and open the new Allen Birthing Center, which went up on the southwest corner of Allen Hospital at 146 W. Dale Street.
