ALLEN CORE VALUES SHINE EVERY DAY AT ALLEN
On Monday, November 22, I attended my first Care Counts luncheon. The number of Allen Associates recognized for going above and beyond normal expectations was truly impressive. The stories related to each associate recognized at the luncheon made it clear why each was a shining example of Allen Core Values. Those values include compassion, accountability, respect and excellence, and they create an excellent foundation for accomplishing our mission of providing the best outcome for every patient every time. I want to again recognize the following individuals for their accomplishment.

We have a couple of very important things to announce regarding the associate campaign for the third building on Allen College’s campus.
- We’ve raised over $62,000 from Allen Health System associates so far – thank you to all who have donated so far!
- We would like to wrap up the campaign by December 3, when we’ll have a celebration treat day in the café and send treats to our other campuses.
- The pre-licensure BSN students from the Allen Student Nurses Association have made a very generous gift of $2,000 to the new building, and we thank them for their generosity.
But most exciting:
- We’ve received a matching challenge gift from the Allen Auxiliary and from now until December 3, every associate dollar donated will be matched by the Auxiliary, up to $100,000. That means your donation will have double the impact on the students at Allen College!
We hope you’ll choose to be a part of this exciting new chapter in Allen College’s history. You should have received a pledge card from your supervisor but you can print a new one by clicking here. Simply fill it out and return to Allen Foundation. If you have any questions, feel free to call ext. 3960.
P.S. Don’t forget to turn in your pledge card by December 3 so you can take part in the associate campaign treat day that afternoon!
