Fast and Furious
Telephone directory changes are coming in fast and furious for the 2012 telephone directory.
I am currently updating on a daily basis and then posting to "quick clicks" on AllenNet so please check the on-line directory before making any requests for changes.
If you would like a change in the directory, please contact your department director. The director will then okay the request and forward request to me. The request will take four hours from when the request comes in to when it is posted. I will then forward request to Robin Nicholson and she will update web pages as needed.
The deadline for final changes is on Friday, January 13. The file will be sent to the printers on Monday, January 16. We will continue to update the on-line directory throughout the year, but will not print another hard copy until January 2013 so make sure your changes are in. - Kay Willard,

Are You Carrying Your New Insurance Card?
Reminder to all associates who signed up for Allen insurance starting Jan 2012: Please remember to carry your new insurance card with you or call in your information off the card to your pharmacy. The carrier and ID# has changed from 2011 and this information is required to get your prescriptions filled. Also, if you have your flex spending card and want that information on file, give us a call as well!

Make sure they check out Des Moines University’s Health P.A.S.S program that takes place the month of July on campus in Des Moines.
Enrollment is limited to 10 students and the application deadline is February 1, 2012. Meals, materials and housing provided.

Health Care Career Scholarships!
The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF) Health Care Careers Scholarship Fund helps Iowans who want to be the future of health care.
This scholarship program offers students as much as $3,000 per academic year, or a maximum of $6,000 over two years. In exchange, scholarship recipients agree to work in an Iowa hospital for one year for each year they receive an award.

Movie Saturday
January 14 at Crossroads Theater only. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. and movies start at 8:30 am. Cost is $2.50 for regular shows and $5.50 for 3D movies. Bring correct change and ID badge for admission. No more than six tickets per associate.
