WORKSITE CERTIFICATION UPDATE
The Allen Blue Zones team continues to grow in numbers and involvement. More than 700 Allen associates have taken up our invitation to join the efforts at living the Blue Zones principles. Whether you have personally committed to family dinner nights, signing up for the online MeYouHealth, volunteering, walking your dog (and yourself!), or any of the other Blue Zones actions, you are part of the greater effort to create our own Blue Zones here at Allen.

Thanks to all who have joined – and remember to give yourself credit for your actions at www.bluezonesproject.com. We need at least 50 more team members to complete actions to achieve our worksite certification.

Wine @ 5 Event
Allen Blue Zones members are invited to Allen College, Barrett Pavilion on Thursday, October 18 from
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a Hy-Vee sponsored Wine @ 5:00 event.

Enjoy healthy snacks, a demonstration of how to make hummus and camaraderie with your Blue Zones buddies.

You must bring your Allen Blue Zones badge to enter. If you have signed up and don’t have your badge yet please contact Paula Delagardelle at 3775 or delagapj@ihs.org.

We will have computers available to access your profile to complete your actions for our Blue Zones Initiative.

29 DAYS to IQ4 Go-Live

End-user training is underway. Please make sure that you are completing all of your IQ4 NetLearning modules prior to coming to class. Many users have sequential classes such as a 100, 200, 300, 400 class schedule and if you miss the first class due to not having your NetLearning done it will disrupt your entire training schedule.

Have fun and thank you for doing your part in making this not only a successful conversion to a new system, but a new experience for our patients that continues our journey for the best outcome for every patient every time.
