Allen Radiology, UMP Radiology, Occupational Health and the Surgical and Procedural Services Management Team each sponsored a different family from Carver Middle School, Allen’s Partner in Education. Allen Cafe Breakfast Changes

I want to inform you of exciting new changes coming to the morning hours of the New Allen Café effective January 2, 2013. With the success we have had with the lunch changes we would like to revamp our breakfast menu. The focus of this will be on improving the number and quality of our healthy food choices while reducing a number of the worst health offenders.
The new sandwich bar demonstrated that healthy food does not have to be bland or unsatisfying. The same is true at breakfast. The new menu will feature a more expansive create your own omelet station with egg beaters, lean meat options and plenty of veggies. Customers will also be able to customize panini’s with the same options. For quick grab and go, we will still offer a variety of breakfast bars and will also be introducing a new fruit pizza by the slice.
There are some items that are being eliminated in the new menu. The Allen Café will no longer offer biscuits and gravy, sausage, cinnamon rolls, or donuts. For many of these, we have identified equal or better substitutions. While we understand that some of these items will be missed, we believe we will have a much better overall breakfast menu in terms of both taste and nutritional value.
