Laboratory and pathology services are conveniently located in three locations at Allen Hospital, Prairie Medical Park and United Medical Park.

Allen Hospital Lab

A full-service laboratory accredited by: College of American Pathologists, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act, and Medicare.

• Clinical Lab: Provides services 24-hours-a-day to all inpatient areas.
• Outpatient Hours: Monday-Friday 6am to 6pm, Saturday 6am to 12noon
• Anatomic Pathology Lab: Staffed 7am to 5pm, available on call other times.

Prairie Medical Park Lab

The Allen Hospital Lab operates Prairie Medical Park Lab. This limited-service lab serves as an outpatient drawing facility with the following limited tests available: CBC, Sed Rate, UA, Urine Pregnancy Test, Basic Metabolic Panel, Strep Screen, Mono Screen, RSV, KOH, Wet Prep, and Fecal Occult Blood.

United Medical Park Lab

The Allen Hospital Lab operates United Medical Park Lab. This limited-service lab serves as an outpatient drawing facility with the following limited tests available: CBC, Sed Rate, UA, Urine Pregnancy Test, Basic Metabolic Panel, Protime (INR), Strep Screen, Mono Screen, RSV, KOH, Wet Prep, and Fecal Occult Blood.

Courier Service
Daily specimen pick-up service is available throughout the metropolitan area and surrounding communities. No charge is made for routine pick-up pre-arranged with the laboratory. All necessary supplies and containers are provided at no additional charge.

Home Draw Phlebotomy Service
Arrangements can be made for phlebotomy in the patient's home if the patient is unable to come to the laboratory. Home draws must be ordered by the physician and requested through the laboratory. There is no additional charge for this service.
