Food Services at Allen

Allen Cafe 
Located off the main hallway on the 1st floor, near the D-elevators.
Daily hours are 6:30am to 7:00pm. 

Guest Trays: Meals are available for $7.88 for visiting members of a patient’s family. If a member of the family wants to be served in the patient’s room, call 2222 and place your order with the diet office operator.  Meals are served to patients between 6:30am and 6:30 pm.

Vending Machines: Available 24 hours a day, located in the Allen Cafe, in the Admissions/Outpatient area, 4-Tower, 5-Central, and the Professional Building.

Room Service Menu
Allen Hospital is at your service. Our institutional approach to food service gave way to individualized room service in 2008, and the results have been terrific. Allen inpatients receive a menu that features made-to-order, freshly-prepared choices. Short-order cooks fill orders-on-demand any time from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a guarantee that meals will arrive fresh and tasty within 45 minutes.

“Nourishment is a critical part of healing,” says Kelley Leonard, who heads Allen’s Hospitality Services. “When you’re hospitalized, there are so many things that feel like they are out of your control. Food choice is one place where we can give a sense of control back to our patients. They love it – and they love the room-service food.”

Ramada Limited - Evandsdale
The Evansdale Ramada offers discounts to family and friends of a person who is hospitalized. To receive the discounted rate, guests need to inform the hotel when making reservations or at check-in that they are with Allen or are visiting someone at Allen.
