UnityPoint Clinic

UnityPoint Clinic provides care in a number of areas including family medicine, internal medicine and various specialty clinics. UnityPoint Clinic also has two walk-in/express care clinics throughout the area that accept patient every day of the week.


Community Memorial Hospital
Allen Hospital in Waterloo is under a management affiliation with Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner. Under the agreement with Community Memorial Hospital, the board retains local control of operations, while Allen Hospital provides guidance and day-to-day administration. Grundy County Memorial Hospital
GCMH is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Grundy Center. The hospital also holds a 55-bed long-term care unit. GCMH is the only hospital in Grundy County and serves a population base of over 12,000 residents. The Hospital is an affiliate of Allen Health System in Waterloo.

In 2004, GCMH began a $6 million modernization project which updated the mechanical systems, Emergency Department, Outpatient Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, hospital entry and parking lot, Ambulatory Surgery and Specialty Clinics.
