A Matter Of Balance Workshop: Managing Concerns About Falling Print

Would you like to improve your balance and feel more comfortable participating in activities? Allen Hospital's Inpatient Rehab Unit and Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging is offering "A Matter of Balance," a workshop designed to increase the activity levels of older adults who have concerns about falling.

In only eight sessions you will learn to:
• Promote exercise to increase strength and balance.
• Set realistic goals for increasing activity.
• Improve your environment to reduce fall risk factors.
• View falls and fear of falling as controllable.

Registration deadline: March 14
