Healthcare Career Workshop
Do you know a college student interested in being accepted to medical, physician assistant or physical therapy school? Des Moines University’s Health Professions Advanced Summer Scholars Program – the Health P.A.S.S. – is a great way to prepare for and enhance your chances of getting into medical or health professions school. Offered in July, the program is high-quality, hands-on and FREE to the participants. Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Application deadline is February 1, 2012.

Healthcare Career Scholarships
The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF) Health Care Careers Scholarship Fund helps Iowans who want to be the future of health care. This scholarship program offers students as much as $3,000 per academic year, or a maximum of $6,000 over two years. In exchange, scholarship recipients agree to work in an Iowa hospital for one year for each year they receive an award.
