Located in the hospital’s Logan Avenue lobby, the Allen Gift Shop offers patients and visitors a variety of timely and thoughtful gifts. Allen Hospital volunteers staff the Gift Shop and are eager to help you choose just the right gift for your friend or loved one. We are always updating our shop with the latest trends to provide you with the best selection.

  

For your convenience, you can shop online or by phone (319-235-3880). We accept Visa and Mastercard. Your order will be processed and delivered during our normal Gift Shop hours (Monday-Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm; Saturday/Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm), usually the same day the order was placed. There will be a $2.00 handling fee added to all online orders.

Before we process your order, we will first verify that the patient is still in the hospital and can receive your item. We mail the receipt the day of the charge. All phone orders are final (no returns, refunds or exchanges).

When ordering by credit card, please have the following information available:

  • credit card number
  • expiration date of credit card
  • name as it appears on the card
  • mailing address of the card holder
  • phone number to be reached in case of difficulty delivering/processing the order
  • patient name with correct spelling
  • room number if known

    • Delivery Information

    Gifts are delivered during regular Gift Shop hours. Delivery service is not available on holidays and is available only for patients at Allen Hospital. We do not deliver off-campus.

    Restrictions

  • Due to hospital policy, latex balloons are not allowed in the hospital.
  • Due to certain health-related restrictions, flowers are not allowed in critical care areas. Non-latex balloons, cards or gifts are recommended for patients in these areas.

    The Auxiliary Gift Shop is a non-profit service helping to fund hospital projects.
