Christopher Clayton  PharmD, MBA
Director of Pharmacy/Patient Safety Officer

Chris received his doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Iowa in 2000 and his MBA from the University of Iowa in 2009. He has been the Director of Pharmacy at Allen  Hospital since June of 2000. Chris has also managed DME and Digestive Diseases for Allen. He is the current chair of the Ethics Committee, the Protocol Coordinator, and the Patient Safety Officer at Allen. Chris has participated in numerous performance improvement initiatives with a background in FMEA, Lean and Adaptive Design. He is currently a master teacher in Adaptive Design at Allen introducing and coaching new leaders on the application of the rules in use and solving problems using the A3 tool.  Chris has been recognized by the IPA for his leadership in the State and was selected for the annual leadership conference in 2008.

Amy Kacher  PharmD
Amy joined Allen Hospital as a full-time staff/clinical pharmacist in 2001. She graduated from the University of  Iowa College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2000 and completed a Pharmacy Residency with emphasis in Family Medicine at Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center in Waterloo, Iowa in 2001. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, precepting an Acute Care Rotation for APPE students. She is a volunteer at the EMA Free Medical Clinic in Waterloo. Professional interests include anticoagulation, pain management, intensive care, and cardiology.

Linsey Schuldt  PharmD
Linsey joined Allen Hospital in 2004. She graduated from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy with her PharmD in 2003 and completed her general pharmacy residency with an emphasis in family medicine at Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center in Waterloo, IA the following year. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, precepting an Acute Care rotation for for APPE students. She is also a volunteer at the EMA Free Medical Clinic in Waterloo. Her pharmacotherapeutic interests include internal medicine, long-term care, and geriatrics.

Lisa Veit  PharmD
Lisa joined Allen Hospital in 2007. She graduated from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy with her PharmD in 2005. She then completed her general pharmacy practice residency at Alegent Health- Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, NE the following year. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the University of Iowa - College of Pharmacy, precepting a General Hospital rotation for APPE students and hosting IPPE students on their hospital experience. She is also a volunteer a the EMA Free Medical Clinic in Waterloo. Her pharmacotherapeutic interests include intensive care, infectious disease, and pediatrics.
